Through this series of pages, a number of pictures or facts will be posted regularily to challenge Prestwick folk to remember the event or place. Some will be extremely easy, others - well I think they might be challenging.
The following picture was taken in Prestwick - but where is it?
Perhaps a bit unfair as this memoprial is relatively new. It is located at the corner of Lanfcroft Avenue and Shaw Road in Prestwick as a memorial to the Miners Rows and the residents. It as also a memorial to the colliers who lost their lives in Glenburn pit.
